Feature highlights

Video Recorder

Capture video and audio with directly from any track or chain—or from the entire session when placed on the Main Track. It supports both internal chain recording and external Spout or Syphon sources, even without Videosync running. This long-requested addition eliminates the need for third-party recording software.

Video Monitor

Like Live’s Spectrum or MIDI Monitor devices, Video Monitor reveals what’s happening inside a track or chain by displaying the video output of preceding devices. It can be placed anywhere in the chain—even multiple times—to see how each device affects the result, or to demonstrate device behavior in an educational context.

Color Swap

Color Swap lets you replace specific colors with other colors or live video sources. Use it for smooth color remapping, precise selective color replacement, or transforming entire images. It’s equally suited for traditional green screen work, subtle color correction, or bold creative effects.

Gradient

The Gradient device now features three modes: Linear, Conical, and Radial, each introducing new parameters and expanded creative possibilities.

Updated reference manual

The Videosync manual has been updated and now contains several step-by-step guides on how to record Videosync’s output on Windows and Mac, as well as guides on how to connect Videosync over a network in various configurations.
